I am having difficulty figuring out what is better in terms of a power chair and scooters and the people who make them.What have you learned about yours.I want to know the advantages and disadvantages.Please help me to decide?

My elderly parents have both a power chair and a scooter.
A power chair is for in the house use. Basically an electric wheelchair.
A scooter is for more outside use, and can even be used on the sidewalk for short distances. It is not usually used in the house.
